Preparing for Your Baby's First Photoshoot
Dear Parents, we are thrilled to capture these precious, once-in-a-lifetime moments of your newborn. Here are a few relaxed preparations to make your studio visit seamless and joyful! 🤍
Before You Leave Home
A full tummy helps baby sleep peacefully
- Feed well shortly before arriving: A full feeding right before leaving creates a calm, sleepy baby.
- Pack extra feeds: Carry extra expressed milk or formula just in case baby gets hungry during transitions.
- Diaper kit essentials: Keep 3–4 extra diapers, baby wipes, and a couple of burp cloths handy.
Comfort for Your Baby
Gentle on delicate newborn skin
- Loose, zip-up or button outfits: Dress baby in loose clothes easy to undo without pulling over their head.
- Avoid tight elastics: Tight socks, wristbands, or pants leave temporary red marks on smooth baby skin.
- Personal keepsakes: Bring special handmade blankets, wooden nameplates, silver bangles, or family heirlooms you'd love in the frame.
During the Session
Newborns naturally need time for burping, soothing, feeding, and settling. Please do not worry if your baby wakes up or fusses — this is 100% normal!
Our studio is sanitized, heated to cozy baby temperature, and we work completely around your baby’s rhythm without rushing.
What Parents Should Wear
Timeless family coordination
For family portraits with baby, soft neutrals look most elegant:
Tip: Avoid loud neon colors, busy checks, or big brand logos so the focus stays entirely on baby’s features.
Most Importantly: Relax!
There is no need for perfection. Your baby's comfort and safety always come first. Just relax and let us preserve these memories for your family. 📸
